Nature is an inspiration to me and old scraps of fallen wood with their exotic knots can visually suggest the visage of other wild life, such as rabbits or elephants or fish. This rabbit's head and shoulders are a found piece of wood that seemed to speak of a rabbit from the beginning and is now incorporated into a clay body of a not-quite-realistic rabbit that has just a bit of fantasy thrown in.
