Inspired by a dream from many years ago, "Encouragement and Reassurance" echos a message from deep within. Done in the intaglio medium of mezzotint, a labor-intensive and rare engraving method that has changed very little in over 300 years. Engraved by hand on copper plate and hand-printed on archival mould-made German Hahnemühle 300gsm paper with Charbonnel traditional oil-based intaglio etching ink. Number 4 in closed edition of 23.
